What do I get with my Apple Podcasts “Speak English with ESLPod.com" subscription?

The "Speak English with ESLPod.com" subscription includes 12 audio lessons (MP3s) each month.

Every Monday and Friday, you get a new Daily English lesson. In Daily English lessons, you learn common and useful conversational American English through dialogues and stories.

Every Wednesday, you get a new Cultural English lesson. Cultural English lessons teach you new words and phrases through information you need to better understand the United States and American culture.

These Daily and Cultural English lessons can only be listened to on the Apple Podcasts app (iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer). The lessons are available to download for 30 days, as long as you have a paid, active subscription.

How to I sign up for an Apple Podcasts subscription?

Follow these simple steps:

1. Open the Apple Podcasts app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer (requires iOS 14.6, iPadOS 14.6, and macOS 11.4 or later).

2. Search for "Speak English with ESLPod" or click here.

3. Click on the Subscribe button. You will pay with your Apple account.

4. Your subscription will automatically renew every 30 days until you cancel it.

How do I cancel my Apple Podcasts subscription?

Please note that we at ESLPod.com cannot cancel your subscription for you. Apple subscription payments and cancellations can only be done by signing into your Apple account.

With our Unlimited English Membership, you get:

  • As many of our 1,800+ audio and written lessons as you want each month;
  • A choice of which lessons you use, picking from all of our Daily and Cultural English lessons;
  • Streaming from any phone, tablet, or computer in any operating system (iOS or Android; Mac or PC) (Internet connection required);
  • Both audio lessons and the complete written Learning Guides, containing transcript, glossary, language tips, and culture note for each lesson;
  • Access to streamed lessons as long as you are a member (you cannot use the lessons after your membership expires (ends)).

Can I keep my Apple Podcasts lessons after I cancel?

Yes, you can continue to listen to any of the lessons you downloaded when you had an active Apple Podcasts subscription using your Apple Podcasts app (iPhone, iPad, or Mac).

Please note that once your subscription expires, you cannot download again any files you deleted from your Apple Podcasts app, or files you did not download before your subscription expired.

We strongly suggest you backup your Apple Podcasts files on your Mac or iCloud account.

How long do I have to download my Apple Podcasts lessons?

You have 30 days to download your lessons, beginning the day the lesson is released (made available on Apple Podcasts), as long as your paid subscription is still active.

For example, a lesson released on July 1st will be available to download until August 1st. But if you cancel your subscription and it expires (ends) on July 20th, you will only be able to download that lesson until July 20th.

You must have a paid, active (not expired) subscription to download lessons. Apple Podcasts audio files can only be played on the Apple Podcasts app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer.

Is the Apple Podcasts “Speak English with ESLPod.com" subscription available for Android or other operating systems?

No. Unfortunately, Apple Podcasts are only available on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac).

However, we do offer our Unlimited English Membership on all platforms, including Android. See more information here.

How do I get my lessons on my iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer?

After you subscribe to “Speak English with ESLPod.com" on the Apple Podcasts app, you can simply click to download the lessons you want.

Where do I get the complete transcripts for the Apple Podcasts lessons?

The Apple Podcasts subscription does not include transcripts, other than the dialogue transcript.

What is 'Speak English with ESLPod' on Apple Podcasts?

Unlimited English gives you access to ALL 1800+ Daily English and Cultural English lessons each month – you can listen to as many as you want! On a computer or Android device, the lessons are streamed; on an iOS device, the lessons can be streamed or downloaded. Please note that if you cancel your membership, you will not be able to listen, even if the lessons have been downloaded.

What specifically do I get in each Unlimited English lesson?

Each lesson has two parts:

1) a streaming audio lesson, and
2) a text Learning Guide (8-10 pages).

The Learning Guide includes:

  • a complete transcript of everything we say in the audio lesson
  • tips on how to use the new vocabulary
  • cultural information
  • a glossary with definitions of the key vocabulary
  • new sample sentences to show you how to use the new terms in the right way

How does the Unlimited English Membership work?

As a paid member, you get access to ALL 1800+ Daily English and Cultural English. You can stream lessons on your computer or mobile device. Please note that if you cancel your membership, you will not be able to listen to the lessons.

You can listen to as many lessons as you want to and as often as you would like. There are no limits! You can improve as quickly as you want to.

How long do I have access to the lessons?

You have access to ALL 1800+ lessons as long as you are paying your monthly membership fee ($29 each month). You will be able to listen to as many lessons as you want each month, either streaming them on your computer, iOS (iPhone/iPad), or Android device.

Once your membership expires (ends), you will NOT be able to listen to your lessons. You must have an active, paid monthly membership to listen to lessons.

How does a subscription work?

Unlimited English is a subscription, which means you are a charge each month until you cancel. Until you cancel, you will be charged $29 each month. But you can cancel anytime – it's easy! Just click on your account icon (top, right corner) and then click Manage Subscriptions. You can cancel your membership there. You will still have access to the lessons until the end of your current 30-day subscription period, or, for our yearly plan, until the end of your 12 months.

Note: If you are canceling and also want a refund, you must email us within 30 days of starting your membership. This is true for both regular and annual memberships. After 30 days, we cannot refund you. We do not automatically refund subscriptions when they are canceled; you must email us to request it.

How do I cancel my membership?

It's easy! Just click on your account icon (top, right corner) and then click Manage Subscriptions. You can cancel your membership there. You will still have access to the lessons until the end of your current 30-day subscription period, or 12 months if you are on a yearly plan. Yearly plans can be canceled anytime during the 12-month membership, but refunds can only be requested in the first 30 days.

Can I cancel my Unlimited English membership in the middle of the month?

You may cancel anytime and you will not be charged again for the next month (30 days). However, you will not receive a partial refund for the remainder of the current 30 days on your membership

What if I am unhappy with my Unlimited English Membership?

We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are not satisfied with your membership, please contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund. Yearly memberships must be canceled within 30 days. Any refunds must be requested within 30 days of first starting your membership.

I want fewer lessons each month. Do you have anything for me?

Yes! You can get our Select English Membership. Select English gives you 15 lessons per month. The lessons are not streamed. You download the MP3 and PDF lesson files to your computer and can keep them forever.

How do I stream Unlimited English lessons directly to my phone or tablet? I don't have a computer.

It's easy! If you have an Android device, just open your phone or tablet's browser, go to https://tv.eslpod.com, log in, and start listening.

iOS users can stream and also download lessons on our app from Teachable.com. You can listen to lessons offline for as long as you have a paid, active Unlimited English membership. Get more information on using the app here.
