Unlimited English Membership

What is Unlimited English?

Unlimited English gives you access to ALL 1800+ Daily English and Cultural English lessons each month – you can listen to as many as you want! You can stream lessons on any computer, and download them on our Android and iOS apps. Please note that if you cancel your membership, you will not be able to listen, even if the lessons have been downloaded.

What specifically do I get in each Unlimited English lesson?

Each lesson has two parts:

1) a streaming audio lesson, and
2) a text Learning Guide (8-10 pages).

The Learning Guide includes:

• a complete transcript of everything we say in the audio lesson
• tips on how to use the new vocabulary
• cultural information
• a glossary with definitions of the key vocabulary
• new sample sentences to show you how to use the new terms in the right way

How does the Unlimited English Membership work?

As a paid member, you get access to ALL 1800+ Daily English and Cultural English. You can stream lessons on your computer or mobile device, or download them on our Android and iOS apps. Please note that if you cancel your membership, you will not be able to listen to the lessons.

You can listen to as many lessons as you want to and as often as you would like. There are no limits! You can improve as quickly as you want to.

How long do I have access to the lessons?

You have access to ALL 1800+ lessons as long as you are paying your monthly membership fee ($29 each month). You will be able to listen to as many lessons as you want each month.

Once your membership expires (ends), you will NOT be able to listen to your lessons. You must have an active, paid monthly membership to listen to lessons, including ones downloaded on one of our apps.

How does a subscription work?

Unlimited English is a subscription, which means you are a charge each month until you cancel. Until you cancel, you will be charged $29 each month. But you can cancel anytime – it's easy! Just click on your account icon (top, right corner) and then click Manage Subscriptions. You can cancel your membership there. You will still have access to the lessons until the end of your current 30-day subscription period, or, for our yearly plan, until the end of your 12 months.

Note: If you are canceling and also want a refund, you must email us within 30 days of starting your membership. This is true for both regular and annual memberships. After 30 days, we cannot refund you. We do not automatically refund subscriptions when they are canceled; you must email us to request it.

How do I cancel my membership?

It's easy! Just click on your account icon (top, right corner) and then click Manage Subscriptions. You can cancel your membership there. You will still have access to the lessons until the end of your current 30-day subscription period, or 12 months if you are on a yearly plan. Yearly plans can be canceled anytime during the 12-month membership, but refunds can only be requested in the first 30 days.

Can I cancel my Unlimited English membership in the middle of the month?

You may cancel anytime and you will not be charged again for the next month (30 days). However, you will not receive a partial refund for the remainder of the current 30 days on your membership

What if I am unhappy with my Unlimited English Membership?

We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are not satisfied with your membership, please contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund. Yearly memberships must be canceled within 30 days. Any refunds must be requested within 30 days of first starting your membership.

I want fewer lessons each month. Do you have anything for me?

If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can subscribe to our Apple Podcasts subscription with just 12 audio lessons per month for $14.99.

How do I get my Unlimited English lessons directly to my phone or tablet? I don't have a computer.

It's easy!

First, purchase your Unlimited English membership on your web browser, and remember your username and password.

Next, download our app for either Android or iOS (iPhone/iPad), log in with your same username and password, and start listening to your lessons right away!

With our app, you can also download the audio lessons to listen to when you're not connected to the Internet. (Lessons are available on the app for as long as you have a paid membership.)

You can also stream your lessons on any phone, tablet, or computer by logging into your account on your web browser.

What do I get with my Apple Podcasts “Speak English with ESLPod.com" subscription?

The "Speak English with ESLPod.com" subscription includes 12 audio lessons (MP3s) each month.

Every Monday and Friday, you get a new Daily English lesson. In Daily English lessons, you learn common and useful conversational American English through dialogues and stories.

Every Wednesday, you get a new Cultural English lesson. Cultural English lessons teach you new words and phrases through information you need to better understand the United States and American culture.

These Daily and Cultural English lessons can only be listened to on the Apple Podcasts app (iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer). The lessons are available to download for 30 days, as long as you have a paid, active subscription.

How to I sign up for an Apple Podcasts subscription?

Follow these simple steps:

• Access to streamed or app-downloaded lessons as long as you are a paid member (you cannot use the lessons after your membership expires (ends)).

Can I keep my Apple Podcasts lessons after I cancel?

Yes, you can continue to listen to any of the lessons you downloaded when you had an active Apple Podcasts subscription using your Apple Podcasts app (iPhone, iPad, or Mac).

Please note that once your subscription expires, you cannot download again any files you deleted from your Apple Podcasts app, or files you did not download before your subscription expired.

We strongly suggest you backup your Apple Podcasts files on your Mac or iCloud account.

How long do I have to download my Apple Podcasts lessons?

You have 30 days to download your lessons, beginning the day the lesson is released (made available on Apple Podcasts), as long as your paid subscription is still active.

For example, a lesson released on July 1st will be available to download until August 1st. But if you cancel your subscription and it expires (ends) on July 20th, you will only be able to download that lesson until July 20th.

You must have a paid, active (not expired) subscription to download lessons. Apple Podcasts audio files can only be played on the Apple Podcasts app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer.

Is the Apple Podcasts “Speak English with ESLPod.com" subscription available for Android or other operating systems?

No. Unfortunately, Apple Podcasts are only available on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac).

However, we do offer our Unlimited English Membership on all platforms, including Android. See more information here.

How do I get my lessons on my iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer?

After you subscribe to “Speak English with ESLPod.com" on the Apple Podcasts app, you can simply click to download the lessons you want.

Where do I get the complete transcripts for the Apple Podcasts lessons?

The Apple Podcasts subscription does not include transcripts, other than the dialogue transcript.

English Collections + Special Courses

What's the difference between English Collections and Unlimited English?

Unlimited English is a membership that renews every month. You can listen to as many of our 1800+ lessons as you want each month for $29/month. All lessons can be streamed on your computer or mobile device.

English Collections + Special Courses allow you to download sets of lessons you choose to keep on your computer (MP3s and PDFs). You can purchase a set of “Daily English” lessons in groups of 50 or a set of “Cultural English” lessons in groups of 30. We also offer different Special Courses on different topics such as business English and American culture.

You can download the MP3 and PDF lessons onto your computer so you can listen to and read on any device, anywhere.

What specifically do I get with each English Collection set?

Each English Collection set comes with either 50 Daily English OR 30 Cultural English lessons.

• a complete transcript of everything we say in the audio file
• tips on how to use the new expressions
• cultural information
• a glossary with definitions of the key expressions
• new sample sentences to show you how to use the new terms in the right way

You can download all of our audio files (MP3) and Learning Guides (PDF) to keep and use on mobile devices and desktop computers.

How do I decide which English Collection sets to choose?

The title of each lesson is listed to help you decide which sets of lessons to select.

“Daily English” lessons are sold in packages of 50. Lessons are sold in numerical order (that is, Lessons 1-50, Lessons 51-100, Lessons 101-150, etc.).

“Cultural English” lessons are sold in packages of 30, and are also sold in numerical order (that is, Lessons 1-30, Lessons 31-60, Lessons 61-90, etc.).

At this time, it is not possible to select individual lessons for your package or select individual lessons to purchase.

Do I need a computer to download my MP3 and PDF files?

All of our files for English Collections and Special Courses are MP3 and PDF files that you can download and use wherever you'd like.

We offer the option to download our files in compressed “ZIP” format and individually.

ZIP files normally need to be downloaded on a laptop or desktop computer and then “unzipped” to use the files. After you download them onto your computer, you can then transfer them to your listening device, just like you would any other audio files you want to put on your phone, tablet, or MP3 player.

Individual MP3 files cannot normally be downloaded directly from our website to your phone, tablet, or MP3 player. Most likely, you will need a computer to download them and then transfer the files to your device.

We recommend you use either a computer or tablet to read the PDF Learning Guide, since PDF files are more difficult to read on a smartphone.

What devices work for ESLPod.com’s lessons?

All of our lessons for English Collections and Special Courses consist of MP3 and PDF files. Our Learn English TV lessons are streaming videos (Internet connection required).

Once downloaded, you can listen to the audio (MP3) lessons using any computer, tablet, smartphone, or music player that plays MP3 files.

Once downloaded, Learning Guides (PDF) can be read on any computer, tablet, or smartphone that displays PDF files.

Can I select individual lessons for an English Collection set?

No, it is not possible to select individual lessons for your sets or select individual lessons to purchase.

The title of each lesson is listed in the English Collections packages to help you decide which package of lessons to select. If you want to chose lessons in different packages, consider becoming an Unlimited English member instead, which gives you access to any of our 1800+ lessons.

How long do I have to download my English Collection or Special Courses MP3 and PDF files?

You have 30 days after purchase to download your files. Please download them and keep them in a safe place, as we cannot give access to files after the 30-day period.

What if I don’t download my English Collection sets within 30 days?

After you purchase an English Collections set or a Special Course, you have 30 days to download the MP3 audio and PDF Learning Guide files. After that time, you will not be able to download your files from our website without buying the English Collections set or Special Course again.

Please remember to download your files and keep them in a safe place. We are not able to give you access to your lessons after the 30-day period.

How is ESLPod.com different from other online English courses?

I’m only an intermediate speaker of English. Is this course for me?

Yes! ESLPod.com lessons are for intermediate and advanced English learners. Our lessons are not “leveled” or in order of difficulty, but are appropriate for all intermediate and advanced speakers of English.

You can listen to our dialogues at both a “learning speed” (a little slower and clearer than regular speech) and a “normal speed” (the way Americans naturally speak). You’ll hear a clear and detailed explanation of the difficult and key terms. You will also have a complete transcript of every word spoken in each lesson, so you can follow along as you listen or find the words you aren’t sure about or simply want to see in writing.
